# Renaming conversations

Conversations are listed by date by default. You can give any conversation a custom name to make it easier to find later.

## How to rename <a href="#h_3470b65f1a" id="h_3470b65f1a"></a>

Open the conversation in the drawer, then tap and hold the conversation title to edit it. Enter the name you want and confirm.

## Names are private <a href="#h_1a889fca46" id="h_1a889fca46"></a>

Conversation names are only visible to you. They don't affect how Sol behaves - they're just for your own navigation.
