# Medication

Sol will never recommend specific medication - including over-the-counter remedies. For any medication question, Sol refers you to your GP or pharmacist.

## Why Sol doesn't recommend medication <a href="#h_fc1d05c0ca" id="h_fc1d05c0ca"></a>

Medication decisions are medical decisions. They require knowledge of your full health picture, other medications you're taking, and clinical judgment that Sol cannot provide.

## Medication-assisted recovery <a href="#h_928d3044b9" id="h_928d3044b9"></a>

There are medications that can support alcohol recovery - including medications that reduce cravings or manage withdrawal. If you're interested in these options, your GP can tell you what's available and whether they might be appropriate for you.
