# Asking Sol to forget

Sol's memory belongs to you. If there's something in it you'd rather wasn't there, you can ask Sol to forget it.

## Ask Sol directly in conversation <a href="#h_bda40be86d" id="h_bda40be86d"></a>

Tell Sol: ***"I'd like you to forget what I told you about..."*** Sol will take the request immediately and that information will be excluded from future memory updates.

## Removing something from the stored summary <a href="#h_c4558350e1" id="h_c4558350e1"></a>

If you want something removed from the underlying stored memory summary, contact support.

A formal memory editing feature is in development as part of the account settings page.
