# Creating an Account

You don't create an account upfront in Solomon. The account is created when Sol offers to save your conversation - which happens after around six messages.

## What you need <a href="#h_6ac65708de" id="h_6ac65708de"></a>

A name (doesn't have to be your real one) and an email address. That's it. No password is set at this stage - Solomon uses a magic link login.

## What an account gives you <a href="#h_25ce593523" id="h_25ce593523"></a>

* Memory - Sol carries a growing picture of you across sessions
* Conversation history - all your past conversations, accessible any time
* Bookmarks - save Sol's responses for later
* Journal - a private writing space

## Signing in again <a href="#h_80fd05e7be" id="h_80fd05e7be"></a>

When you return to Solomon on a new device or after being signed out, enter your email address. Solomon will send a magic link. Click it and you're in.
