## Sol for Services

Sol is now positioned ready for formal service adoption.

We're pleased to share that Sol - our AI companion for people affected by alcohol - is now available to commissioners, NHS services, local authorities, and third-sector partners.

Sol supports both early engagement, reaching people before they're ready to seek formal help, and sustained recovery, staying useful long after someone has left a service. Built on Motivational Interviewing and FRAMES, with a full clinical governance and safeguarding framework behind every conversation.

If you're exploring digital tools for early engagement, harm reduction, or recovery support, we'd welcome the conversation.

<summary>Service Pathways</summary>

Solomon is intended to complement NHS, probation, and community recovery services - not to operate in isolation. It can function as an early engagement layer, helping people move from private reflection toward supported next steps.

For services, this may mean reduced friction at the front door, increased readiness for help-seeking, and more timely connections to formal care.

## The Person Behind Sol

The person behind Sol, and why I built him.

<figure><img src="/files/yISLv8sMr8cGjRYovsl2" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Hi there,

Sol did not start as a tech idea. He started as a frustration.

So many people quietly wonder about their drinking long before they would ever call it a problem. They are not in crisis. They are not ready to walk into a service or label themselves anything. They are just sitting with a question they have nowhere to take. Most support is built for people who have already decided to change. Very little exists for the moment just before that, when someone is only beginning to wonder.

Sol was built for that moment.

He is the work of people with lived experience of their own relationship with alcohol, alongside clinical and recovery expertise. That combination matters. Lived experience keeps Sol honest and human. The clinical grounding keeps him safe and credible. Neither on its own would have been enough.

Sol is not here to diagnose you, push you, or report on you. He is a private, judgement-free space to think out loud, at your own pace. What you say to Sol stays between you and Sol.

I built him with the help of my best friends in recovery because we all believe the earliest, quietest questions deserve a good answer too. If you have ever wondered whether you drink a little too much, you are exactly who I made him for.

David
